Looking for a teen movie on Netflix (early 2000s vibe, lake parties,

Hey everyone,
I’m trying to remember a teen / coming-of-age movie I watched a few years ago on Netflix (Germany). It was an English-language movie, but I watched it dubbed in German.

What I recall:

Set in / has the vibe of the early 2000s

About a group of friends, some still in high school, some older

They often hang out / party at a small lake

In one scene, they smoke something underwater, and a nerdy guy passes out

There’s also a teen romance in the story

At the very end, the friends find a girl back at the high school (she shows up there and they pick her up)


Important: the girl “going missing” is not the main plot, it’s more towards the ending.
